Background:
Christine received her B.A.(Hons) in political science from McMaster University in 1995 and obtained a Masters Degree in political science and public policy from McMaster University in 1996. She received her LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1999. Christine articled with Bennett Best Burn LLP and joined the firm upon her call to the Ontario Bar in 2001. Christine practices civil litigation, with an emphasis on commercial litigation and employment matters. Christine regularly appears before the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Christine has conducted hearings before the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal. She has also completed a certificate program in Alternate Dispute Resolution. Christine has co-written the following articles: Income Determination under the Child Support Guidelines: A Review of the Case Law (2002) 19 CFLQ 283 and Imputing Income: It’s a Matter of Choice, (2003) 21.2 CFLQ 217. Christine is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates Society, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association, and the Liberal Party.
