Background:
Robyn received her B.A. (Hons) in political science from McMaster University in 1996 and obtained her M.A. in political science and international relations from McMaster University in 1997. She received her LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 2000 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. Robyn joined Bennett Best Burn in 2005 where she practices primarily in the area of real estate and commercial law, including the purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties, commercial leasing, and financing transactions secured by real estate. Prior to joining Bennett Best Burn LLP, Robyn was Counsel with the Department of Justice in Ottawa in the Aboriginal Affairs Portfolio. Robyn has also spent time working in Africa on international human rights issues. This occasion provided Robyn with the opportunity to live and work in the local community and to contribute to the promotion and protection of international human rights standards.
