Background:
Trish obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Bond University (Gold Coast, Qld, Australia) in 2007, which included an international exchange at Northwestern School of Law (Chicago, IL, United States), and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010. She is also a graduate of Queen’s University (Kingston, ON, Canada) with a B.A. (Hons.) in English and History and B.Ed., and of OISE/University of Toronto (Toronto, ON, Canada) with a M.Ed. in educational administration. Trish joined Bennett Best Burn in 2011 where she practices primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate and commercial law and wills and estates. Specific areas of work include commercial and residential real estate transactions, purchase and sale of businesses, and advising clients on commercial leases, corporate re-organizations and financing transactions secured by real estate. Also, Trish advises clients on estate planning matters, drafts wills and power of attorneys, obtains probate and advises estate trustees on the administration of estates. Prior to joining the firm, Trish taught business at the secondary level in York Region, Ontario, worked in the legal department of a multi-national corporation in Toronto and articled and worked with a sole practitioner in Unionville, Ontario on a variety of legal matters. Trish is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers’ Association. Trish is fluent in Greek.
